Ithaca, NY
Ellana worked with Ellenzweig on a phased project for the School of Integrative Plant Sciences at the New York State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell University. The Ithaca complex of interconnected buildings on the Cornell University campus serves as the primary base of operations for the school hosting administrative offices, classrooms, and teaching and research laboratories specifically equipped for the work.
During Phase 1, Ellana provided cost estimating for the renovation of a 172,000 SF, three-story science building, originally constructed in 1930. The scope of work includes interior, exterior, systems and selected site improvements, and two new fire lines.
Phase 2 features the renovation of a five-story science building, interior fit out, additional MEP work, façade repairs & window replacement plus two alternates schemes. This project is targeting LEED Silver version 4. The extended scope estimate includes an additional seven alternates.
