Rhode Island College - Fogarty Life Science Building Lab 227 Renovations

For this project at Rhode Island College, we joined the project team toward the end of design and provided a final cost estimate for the renovation. The College needed to renovate their Lab 227 in the Life Sciences building in order to modernize the space and foster leading-edge instruction. The footprint of the lab was roughly 700 SF.

We estimated the 50% construction documents set for this lab fit out at under $500k. The renovations for the lab included: all new finishes, new lab benches and casework, as well as upgraded MEP systems. With low specifications and the project being time sensitive for the owner, our team began the project, completed our work, and made necessary revisions for final submission all within a couple of weeks.
