Newark, NJ
Ellana provided cost estimating services to Perkins Eastman for a new eight-story interdisciplinary building, new above ground parking facility, and additional infrastructure and mechanical system needs to the existing Central Utility Plant on the Health Sciences Campus at Newark. The project team addressed existing parking and infrastructure deficiencies that were captured in the cost estimate along with extensive site and below grade utility work associated with the new proposed facility.
The new interdisciplinary building users will be made up of Graduate, Doctoral and some Undergraduate students from Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, School of Health Related Professions, School of Public Health, and School of Nursing. The new interdisciplinary program accommodates the projected growth of each school to 2024.
