Orchard Beach Pavilion Reconstruction

Ellana assisted Marvel Architects and the City of New York to budget renovation costs to the existing historic Orchard Beach Pavilion.

The first task of this major project involved complete structural repairs, envelope upgrades, wet and dry floodproofing, site upgrades, and MEP infrastructure for future tenant fit out work.

Maintaining the nearly 100 year old facility finishes was a major portion of the work, matching tile and terra cotta materials and patterns throughout, bur also modernizing the facility. The state of disrepair combined with new access and other code issues has made this a challenge.
