Museum of Mathematics

New York, NY

The Museum of Mathematics, known as MoMath, will move to a new location at 635 & 641 Avenue of the Americas in Flatiron District of Manhattan. The popular museum expands into two buildings encompassing 30,700 SF connected by a central corridor. This prominent space fosters a strong presence for the museum while enhancing the brand and visibility. The large storefront glazing provides glimpses along the street and draws visitors into its gracious gift shop, which holds a dual function as the lobby. The program also features extensive exhibit space, cafe, offices, and restrooms.

Ellana prepared an SD estimate for this interior fit out and provided reconciliation services. Our estimate included millwork, theater lighting, operable partitions, MEP, tiered motorized retractable seating, and vertical transportation.
