Lincoln Center David Geffen Hall Redevelopment

Construction cost estimating and consulting directly to Lincoln Center Development Project for the comprehensive renovation and upgrades at the historic theatre. The team collaborated with the project management team to confirm existing dimensions, connections and existing conditions prior to the redevelopment, reconciled and reviewed contractor and design team changes, prepared narratives outlining costs and detailing changes, logged change orders and coordinated with the construction manager to approve onset of work.

Our team also prepared change order review summaries that outline costs, scope, cost analysis and final cost estimates in LCDP’s templates, participated in meetings and site assessments as part of change investigations, reviewed design team and construction manager’s contract documents, agreements, unit prices and labor rates (based on NYC Building & Construction Trades Agreements).

The redeveloped hall offers improved ADA access, significantly more bathrooms, improved sight lines and acoustics, new lounge areas, an expanded “Grand Promenade” on the second floor and a lobby with more than double its original capacity.

The new David Geffen Hall opened in October 2022, two years of its initial schedule.
