MTA Stations, Flushing Line Renewal

Ellana provided cost estimating for improvements and comprehensive rehabilitations to the following station stops along the Flushing Line: 52nd Street Station, 69th Street Station, 82nd Street Station, 103rd Street Station and 111th Street Station. The cost estimates accounted for costs across all disciplines for each station, the provided an aggregate of costs and costs for mobilization and design/build contract estimates. Estimates accommodated temporary facilities for bathrooms, locker rooms and back-of-house spaces.

Construction scope of work at each of the five stations includes:

1. state of good repair improvements

2. stripping and painting

3. repair of structural defects

4. reconstruction of platforms for ADA compliance

5. stair replacements

6. upgrades to the electrical and communication systems

7. abatement work

8. station appearance refreshments
