Boston Logan Airport Security Badge Office Renovations

The purpose of this renovation to the Security Badge Office at Logan Airport was primarily to make functional architectural improvements to the space. Our cost consulting team worked alongside our design team to reconfigure the layout for improved throughput, to add more office space for employees of the office, and to increase the seating space in the waiting area.

Our team produced a cost estimate for the project at the CD phase of design. This 1,336 SF renovation included mostly architectural alterations that improved the program of the space. Finishes included new ticketing countertops and windows. A portion of the work included interior and exterior partition demolition with subsequent infill work. The necessary MEP upgrades included new intercom/ loud speaker system and a video security video system.
