This project involved providing cost estimating services during Design Development. Ellana provided additional bid comparison and value engineering services in order to level the client’s budget with the estimated cost of construction.

The project scope included the renovation this exotic, custom, high end interior for this existing 3-story, 16,500 sf commercial building. The project consists of new MEP systems and interior fit-out of custom/specialty finishes that bring the total construction cost in the range of $1,000/sf. Programmatic function of the space includes restaurant/bar, event space, offices, a car show room, and staff areas, which included commercial kitchens. The retrofit requires alteration of the timber framed structure with steel reinforcing and new structural back-up for landmark-status masonry façade.
