Ellana assisted Schwartz Silver Architects in the development of programming and plan options for an immediate plan to move users out of the existing courthouse into a lease space, costs for temporary lease spaces, and the design of a new Quincy Courthouse. The project consolidates the Quincy District Court, Quincy Juvenile Court, Norfolk Superior Court in Dedham, and a new housing court.
The study and schematic design work plan establishes a breakdown of tasks, outlines critical meetings and workshops, attached fee schedules related to deliverables and provides a project schedule with review timeframes included, over two phases.
The planning and design work in 2022 completes the first part of the design and construction of an efficient and functional Regional Justice Center for Norfolk County. The construction of the new justice center is complete in 2028.
