Ellana provided cost estimates for the installation of a fixed-barrier system to increase safety, thwart acts of natural and manmade disasters or accidental collisions to the tower legs. The fixed barrier system stops a boats progress in seconds, and is capable of stopping a second or even a third swarm attack, should it occur. The barrier system required the installation of marine-driven piles to support the steel fence’s required collision-counteraction force. The project included installation of a fire standpipe at each tower that required night work and phased construction.
