New York, NY
ELLANA provided cost estimating services to Stantec for the development of a park with pedestrian and bicycle paths on a platform held up by a combination of new and re-purposed caissons along the East River. This platform runs parallel to the FDR Drive; starting with a connection from 54th street via a new overpass bridge, runs north below the Queensboro Bridge, and connects to Andrew Haswell Green Park. The overpass bridge that connects the East Midtown Greenway to 54th St. was prefabricated off site and placed into its final position over the FDR Drive overnight. The East Midtown Greenway alignment is constructed above the 100 year flood elevation. Scope included renovations on Sutton Place Park at 54th Street.
Ellana provided weighted average item pricing reports based on item, region, quarter, and accommodated escalation over several years. The team also provided bid support and suggested pricing for the average award versus the lowest bids for a wide variety of disciplines.
