Walnut High Apartments

Brookline, MA

Brookline Housing Authority plans to redevelop its Walnut High Apartments. The site is part of a newly created zoning district. The 181-unit structure includes two buildings to be developed in phases. Initial work includes demolition of three structures, 4-12, 16-24 and 28-42 Walnut Street, and construction of two residential towers spanning 225,000 SF. Tower #1 will contain 96 units and Tower #2 has 85 units with one level of covered parking. Ellana served as cost estimator during the design phase.
