ELLANA provided estimates for the design of a new cultural structure as part the existing Louis Armstrong House Museum.

The building is a steel framed building with concrete on deck. The existing site was demolished to make way for the new 3-story building, with one level below grade. The exterior of the building is glass and metal panel and includes a green roof.

In the estimate, special attention was given to two of the key design elements, the structure of the curved canopy, as well as the skylights that punctuated the roof to allow light to the ground floor level.
