Beginning in 2005 during the preconstruction phase, ELLANA provided cost estimating services to the HOK design team at all stages of project development. Currently, ELLANA is providing project controls services to TDX – the construction manager - assisting with day-to-day on site services, including change order estimates preparation, reviewing of contractors change orders, negotiations, estimates preparation and changes approval from off-site conditions and specific project changes.

The project scope covers construction of a new 7-story, 195,000sf pavilion and renovation of the existing Martin Luther King Building, including the chiller plant. Work on the new pavilion includes the ER department; trauma unit; dental operating room; general operating room; lab and mammography unit; bone density suite; cardiology diagnosis unit; endoscopy unit; bronchoscopy unit; cardiac catheter unit; radiology unit; burn unit patient floor; intensive-care unit; and pediatric intensive-care unit. Work entails interior alterations; MEP upgrades; and system tie-ins with the new building.
